My continuing interest in natural materials such as sheep‘s wool led me to manufacture a wool jacket.
In collaboration with Anna Merlo, we manufactured two individual pieces. In autumn 2019 I spent 7 weeks in Ticino, southern Switzerland, dedicating myself to the production of the fabric – from cleaning the wool to spinning and weaving the fabric.
Loomd bags
Bag label since march 2023
Loomd bags are made of waxed cotton fabric and different coloured zippers and inside fabric. The black strap finds its way around the bag in a woven way.
Karo Rugs
Internship Anna Saarinen
May - June 2019
In spring 2019 I was able to do an internship in the Anna Saarinen Textilmanufaktur. Anna Saarinen’s rugs are manufactured on hand looms, mostly in Switzerland and partly in Finland. The rugs are woven with cotton cut offs from the industry. During my internship I designed the rug series “karo”
